Go deeper or lighten up your story, further your command of the stage, pump up characters and learn from someone who has made a living at solo performance for decades. In an energized, and supportive environment Marga Gomez will offer constructive feedback, tools and exercises to find the humor, raise the stakes and root your performance piece physically and vocally. The class will include group discussion for participants and auditors. This workshop is geared for comedic and dramatic solo performance and storytelling. This is not a stand up class. If you have a project you are starting or in mid development this is for you. If you are simply interested in observing the creative and performance process this is for you.
The Marga Gomez Workshop is one of the only SF workshops with a screening process to ensure a supportive, diverse, harmonious and vigorous group experience. It’s also FUN. Apply by April 25, 2017 Applicants will be notified April 28th
